The Hussar is a traditional bar with a warm atmosphere. Our friendly and efficient bar staff are on hand to cater for anything you may need, they have extensive local knowledge and can help and advise on Margate and the surrounding area.
We pride ourselves on providing a good selection of beer, wine and real ales. Always on offer are two cask ales kept to a very high standard. We have also been awarded an accreditation from Cask Marque for the quality of our beer.
Our large beer garden contains a relaxing patio area, a heated smoking area plus swings and slides for the children.
Oscars Café Bar
Named after our 6th grandchild, Oscar’s Cafe bar is our main eating area. Separated by doors from the main bar area the restaurant has a fresh, bright airy atmosphere with the benefit of fresh pub grub. We offer a good selection of tea, fresh coffee and cakes all day and night.
Food is currently served between 12 – 2.30 Mon – Sat and 12 – 3 on Sunday.

Menu
Our menu consists of a delicious range of light meals including sandwich’s, baguettes, wraps and jacket potatoes. Also on offer is ‘fish of the day’, ‘pie of the day’ and ‘roast dinner of the day’. Finally our lovely specials board offers a diverse range of food, changed on a regular basis.
